Individuals are supported daily in maintaining current skills, acquiring new ones and in participating in the community. People have the right to meaningfully participate in making decisions that impact their lives.
Navigating the service systems for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can feel like a maze. Case Managers help individuals gain access to needed services and offer an array of coordination supports.
MCDS provides support services in an appropriate atmosphere where self expression, self-understanding and personal growth can flourish.
MCDS offers a wide variety of community living options ranging from fully supported to independent living settings in a shared residence or an individual apartment. Regardless of the type of residence or number of persons sharing the residence, MCDS offers staff supports, as needed, for each person from a few hours per week to 24-hours a day.
The CDDO acts as the umbrella of disability services and service providers and ensures that eligible individuals receive the support services they need with available funding.
The CDDO functions as the point of entry for services and determines eligibility for individuals needing services. Choices and options of services available are fully conveyed to the family to meet the needs of the individual.
